The purpose of this system is to take information collected from insulin pumps, CGM systems, and glucose meters, and turn it into CareLink Personal software reports.

Uploaded data is used to generate reports and can be shared with a healthcare professional. Ask a user with administrative privileges, such as the network administrator, to sign in to the computer to allow the installation. Use the uploader to manage devices to upload data to CareLink ™ Personal software. The uploader opens when Upload Now is selected.

Through CareLink ™ Connect software, care partners can see information sent from a connected CGM device or insulin pump. In this chapter, the CGM device or insulin pump connected to the software is referenced as the connected device. CareLink ™ Connect software is part of CareLink ™ Personal software. Through CareLink ™ Connect software, care partners can see information sent from a connected CGM device or insulin pump.
