wvu forum, WVU is the blind squirrel that finds the nut every once in a while. A realist would understand that WVU is not a name brand like Michigan, Penn State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas, OU, Ohio State, USoCal, etc. These teams can have an off year and still pull in a good recruiting class. Brand name means a lot. WVU scored 2 meaningless TDS late versus a prevent defense/Texas deep reserves in the late embers of the game.
wvu forum, Both were in the last 5 minutes when Texas was up 3 touchdowns and simply looking to avoid injuries. When the game was in doubt in the 2nd/3rd quarters, the Texas defense dominated. WVU could not move the ball at all and turned it over.
